Why God’s Story Through the Land?
God’s Story Through the Land came from a simple passion: to help as many believers as possible — especially pastors- experience the setting of the Bible.
As a missionary, pastor, and Bible teacher, I have spent many years teaching Scripture. Over time, I’ve become increasingly convinced that those who have experienced the Land for themselves become more deeply connected to the reading of God’s Word. What were once just unpronounceable names on a page become vivid sensory memories. A personal encounter with the geography, history, culture, and archaeology of biblical times and place helps us understand Scripture more deeply.
I’ve had the privilege of traveling to Israel, Greece, and Turkey many times with hundreds of people. Each time, I find myself seeing familiar biblical stories with fresh eyes.
A valley isn’t just a valley anymore.
A road isn’t just a line on a map.
A ruined city isn’t just an archaeological site.
The places begin to become part of the story.
My hope through God’s Story Through the Land is to help others experience the same connection - to walk the Land, understand its geography and history, and see the biblical story in the setting where it unfolded.
A Ministry of Teaching
This isn’t primarily a travel ministry.
It’s a teaching ministry that uses the Land as a classroom.
Whether through study tours, teaching resources, or opportunities to learn about biblical geography, my goal is to help people move from simply knowing what the Bible says to understanding more clearly the world in which God’s story unfolded.
And for pastors and Bible teachers, I especially hope to make the Land more accessible as a tool for teaching Scripture to others.
About the Ministry
God’s Story Through the Land was founded by Pastor Brad. He is a Bible teacher and lifelong student of Scripture. He has had the privilege of leading groups through Israel, Greece, and Turkey and helping people connect the biblical text with the places, history, and culture in which it unfolded. His wife, Mandie, serves alongside him at their church as the Business Manager and has often helped lead these study trips.
Brad created God’s Story Through the Land because he believes the Land can serve as a powerful classroom for understanding God’s Word, since Jesus Himself often incorporated the Land into His stories and teaching. This ministry exists to help make that experience accessible to others.
