Where Word Became Flesh

Experience the Bible in its historical, geographical, and cultural setting.

The Bible Happened Somewhere.

God chose real places - mountains and valleys, cities and wilderness, roads and rivers — to tell His story. Jesus loved to use the world around him to illustrate the principles He taught — whether vineyards or pastures, well-traveled roads or tombs. When we experience those places and understand their geography, history, archaeology, and cultural context, we begin to see Scripture with new eyes.

God’s Story Through the Land exists to help people experience the Land of the Bible and discover how the Land illuminates God’s Story.‍ ‍

We have a particular passion for helping pastors and Bible teachers experience the Land and bring its geography, history, archaeology, and cultural context into their preaching and teaching.

Many pastors will never have the opportunity to travel to Israel without help. We want to help make that opportunity possible and equip pastors to bring what they discover back to their churches.
